Graduation
I've had on ongoing debate in my head for the last year or so about my impending graduation this may. I don't really want to walk. I feel like I'll be done and moving on to either grad school or following a career path. I don't see the need for me to walk. I didn't walk for my associate's degree and I don't regret that decision, but I have people telling me that I will regret my decision to not walk for my bachelor's degree. Part of my decision rests on the fact that none of my family will be here to watch and I would only do it for them; I know I completed my degree so I don't see a need to walk in front of a bunch of people I don't know. Besides they don't hand you your degree there that day, it takes something like 3 or 4 months to get your diploma in the mail. I probably won't decide until the last minute possible because I'm an indecisive person in many areas.

I totally understand what you're going through, I did the same thing when I finished my BA from OU. I decided at the last minute (the day before) to go ahead and walk, but my parents were able to come so that was a deciding factor. I don't really think you'll regret it if you don't especially since you said your family wouldn't be able to attend. But like you said it's personal decision, best left to the last minute. No sense in dwelling on it...lol! :)
I think you would regret not walking. It would put an end to this part of your life. I am walking so if you would like, I can have my family take pictures or video tape it so you could send it to your family.

No worries girl! It will hit you what you really want to do. I graduated with my bachelors in 04, and my thinking then was "i've already spent 5 years of my life here, why in THE HELL would I want to give them two more hours, Are you kidding?" I'm a little stingy with my time, lol... :) Anyhow, the disappointment was for my family, but amazing- they all got past it. I didn't walk, (even though I earned it?) and i still to this day do not regret it. Nothing in me cared to give them more of my time. And for my invites, cause what girl cant use money! I just put that I graduated on a certain date, and etc, etc.. I had no problems, and had 2 extra hours of life playtime. You got this!
